Broughton Bay Cottage The Gower, South Wales ![]() Broughton Bay Cottage is a newly completed holiday home with spectacular views over Broughton Bay. The long sandy beach, dunes and coastal paths are just 250 yards away In 1956 the Gower Peninsula was named the UK's first area of outstanding beauty. The dramatic coast line is host to the some of the most beautiful, cleanest beaches, bays, clifftops and inlets in the UK. There are fantastic coastal and rural walks displaying the stunning natural landscapes and they are home to a variety of birds and wildlife. Here you will find some of the best samples of flora and fauna. Gower is a ramblers paradise. ![]() INTERIOR On entering from the hallway, there is a spacious open plan lounge and kitchen with dining area. The lounge has a double leather sofa bed, tv with dvd player and cd player. The kitchen has oven, ceramic hob, microwave and fridge. The bathroom has a showerbath, wc and sink with shaver point. Upstairs there is a spacious bedroom, with a double bed (a single bed or cot can be added if requested) ![]() OUTSIDE There is a patio area with garden furniture overlooking open fields and the long sandy beach. ![]() OTHER INFORMATION In addition to the magnificent scenery, there are a number of both ruined and restored castles to visit. Not to mention many ancient, archeological monuments and the beautiful stone churches. Broughton Bay Cottage is located a mile from the village where there is a pub serving food. At Hillend there is a camp shop and Eddy’s café. In the neighbouring village of Llanmadoc there is a pub/restaurant and well stocked shop. The King Arthur Hotel in Reynoldston- a ten minute drive- serves excellent food and is very popular. There are a few other good pubs and restaurants within a ten minute drive. |
